The acquisition announced today means Revolution now has 114 movies and 240 TV episodes in its library to exploit, and the deal is the first major acquisition completed under its new ownership, a buyout that effectively ended the reign of founder Joe Roth (he became a strategic adviser and has a first-look TV deal with the new owners).
