CATALOG INCLUDES BEST PICTURE OSCAR® NOMINEE UP IN THE AIR

LOS ANGELES, CA (October 15, 2015) – Revolution Studios today announced its purchase of the Cold Spring Pictures motion picture library, including all eight films produced by the studio from 2007 to 2012. Titles include the 2009 multiple-Oscar®-nominee and Golden Globe® winner, Up in the Air, starring George Clooney.

Cold Spring Pictures LLC was created in 2006 as a production facility to co-finance motion pictures produced by Ivan Reitman and Tom Pollock’s The Montecito Picture Company.

Included titles are: (with 50% ownership retained by Paramount) Disturbia (2007), a thriller, starring Shia LeBeouf; Up in the Air (2009), directed by Reitman’s son, Golden Globe® winner Jason Reitman; comedy Road Trip: Beer Pong (2009); family comedy Hotel for Dogs (2009); ghost thriller The Uninvited (2009); and No Strings Attached (2011), a romantic comedy starring Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher; (with 50% ownership retained by Fox) Post Grad (2009), a romantic comedy starring Michael Keaton and Jane Lynch; and Hitchcock (2012).

“Cold Spring’s titles offer an incredible variety of genres and styles – a perfect complement to the kinds of films Revolution has in our library,” said Chief Operating Officer Scott Hemming. “With everything from teen comedies to performances by Academy Award®-winning actors, it really gives us quite a lot to offer.”

Revolution Chief Executive Offer Vince Totino agrees, “Tom Pollock and Ivan Reitman have both been proven hitmakers for several decades. These films represent a fantastic cross section of the kinds of work they’ve given film audiences, and continue to do. We couldn’t be more pleased, and look forward to the films’ continued success, along with our partners at Paramount and Fox.”
